| AAAHHH I hate that I have yet to figure out how to get LJ to work at school becasue of the stupid filters that seem to have a total of absolutely no point at all. sigh. I hate how that works. Anywho... I seem to have planned an enjoyable but chaotic weekend which will begin with trace practice and the pasta party followed by the seniors v. staff B-ball game which should be fairly amusing especially since nick is creating a sign that will read "they should rename it bassetball" lovely good. I got made fun of at lunch today for saying lovely and ya know what....ha. I also learned that I am not the only one who is dateless for prom, but close. at least girls weekend at the cottage should be fun, it would have been better with dates but subjecting matt and paul to a weekend with all of us would be cruel. Some people have not embraced the joy of prom yet, and they had better or else. My dress may be boring but I don't care, I can always just wear one of my old ones of squeeze into britt's betsy johnson from homecoming |

| lj is down...that sucks. Oh well I guess I'll just have to post my sorta good news here: I got into the honors college at Michigan. My parents are all excited and think that this is going to make me want to go there...the sad thing is that it does kinda, because I would get a car and I could go upnorth on weekends in the winter to ski pretty much for free because i would stay at my grandpa's...
more importantly though I have my Harvard interview on tuesday with a lawyer at GM so I'm going to meet my dad for lunch at the RenCen before hand. In a nod to nepatism (sp?) he's been emailing all hs friends in the legal office to find out what kind of person she is so I know going into the interview what to expect. The tufts interview was a little annoying because my alumni was really boring, I got the feeling he hadn't read a book since he graduated. The good thing was that he sailed and knew some of the same people I did so all was not lost.
I want to go see motorcycle diaries tonight, but that means i have to find someone else who would be interested in driving out to birmingham and watching a movie about a future comunist revolutionary...i wish suz would get better. |
